Game Recap: Devils defeat Flyers 3-0

The Devils road problems were stopped tonight in great fashion. The Flyers did not register a single goal in tonights game. They had one called back due to goalie interference in the first period. They played a well structured game on defense and it paid off big time. Joey Anderson recorded his first ever goal to start the scoring early in the first. The game was back and forth all night and finally Palmieri on a great wrap around scored late in the third to seal the game. Their were chances for both sides but the Devils were able to score just enough to secure the victory in a game that Kinkaid won for them.

Keith played amazing in net and the guys in front of him looked focused and ready to play from the start. The Devils needed a road win like this to show themselves they can beat high scoring teams when they go on the road. Games like these can really get a team going in the right direction and now the Devils are riding a two game winning streak. Hopefully Nico and Boyle return soon so the team is fully loaded again. Unfortunately Vatanen went down with an injury and no word on his status has been stated yet.

The Devils next game is Saturday afternoon against the Red Wings at Prudential Center.
